Why so much time between episodes?

We’re very sorry! The podcast is very much a labor of love that, other than the support we get from a handful of generous people, we mostly pay for out of pocket. Learning how to record, edit, and manage it has been a slow process, and we appreciate your patience and support more than you know!

Are Jake and jess good friends? relatives? married?

We’re brother and sister. We should probably say that more.

Why does three shots in have seasons?

It just made sense to us at the time, and now it’s a convenient way to keep track of episodes. Also, it’s been too long to change it.

Why all the horse jokes?

Long ago, a terrible, Appalchian hermit used his dark mountain witchcraft to curse Jess, who did nothing wrong, to be mocked as a horse for the rest of her life.
